Freddie, Hector and Tish: The Treasure-Hunt Fish

“I just have to tell you… my son could not put your book down last night. He fell asleep reading it and wanted to finish it first thing this morning. He thought the passage you wrote him was very special. Thank you! Please keep me updated on any of your future work.” - Gina Blancato

“I just finished reading this book. It is truly amazing! The message that we are all unique and special, and that true friends love us unconditionally, is one everyone should receive early in life!” - Sherry Sexton, MS, CPC, Life Coach

“As a mom, grandma, children’s choir director, longtime writer and artist, I love this book! The message is one that kids of all ages should receive every day, and the watercolor images are very sweet.” - P. A. Watanabe

“My granddaughters have had me read the pages off the ‘Freddie the Flounder’ book! They love it. They get so sad when Freddie thinks he’s ugly, and they always say to me: ‘He’s not ugly, he’s cute!!’ But, it really makes them feel good at the end!! I look forward to getting your future books for my girls.” - Deb Adams

Rhyming words hold a child’s attention and form a lasting impression for teaching important lessons. This is a delightful book for young children. - Lucy Forsting, Family Therapist/Author

“The Treasure-Hunt Fish and Miss Bernadette’s Wish”

The Treasure-Hunt Fish and Miss Bernadette’s Wish

“Martin’s warm-hearted characters relate a tale of mystery with a happy but very meaningful ending, capturing the essence of the main crime prevention tenants of Stranger Danger Awareness for Children – it’s good have a buddy with you, don’t go anywhere without your parent’s permission, always be aware of your surroundings. This book provides the perfect opening for a very important discussion all parents should frequently have with their children.” - Captain Bob Staehle (Ret.), University of S. Florida Police Dept, author and expert trainer of child safety

“This book emphasizes the most important and lasting aspects of life - how dependent we are on each other for the collective well-being – and teaches children that the ability to help others settle a problem is both real and natural.” - Richard Wendlek, Founding Head, Academy at the Lakes, Land O’ Lakes, Florida

“A delightful tale filled with adventure, humor and a subtle - but important - message. The characters are so much fun and the illustrations are magical - I can’t wait to share this story with my nephews! The Treasure-Hunt Fish series is perfect for the young and the young at heart!” - Donna Cutting, CSP, author The Celebrity Experience: Insider Secrets to Delivering Red-Carpet Customer Service

“I have a quick story to share with you; I hope it brightens your day as much as your book blessed me and my grandson. My grandson, Chase, is three & half and not very interested in talking to his ‘Grammy’ on the phone right now. I usually get about two seconds – a quick “bye see you later” – when I call because he is so busy playing. Not sure why on this particular day he initiated the call to Grammy, but he did. It just happened to be the day I bought my copy of your second book, ‘The Treasure–Hunt Fish and Miss Bernadette’s Wish’.
“When I told him I had a new book for him, he surprised me by asking if it was like his ‘Freddie Fish’ book. When I said yes, he said: ‘Okay, you can read it now.’ Yippee! This was the first time in months he spent more than two minutes on the phone with me. After we were done with the story he told me he was going to tell his teacher they were going to get a new fishy book. Every night for the next week Chase called me to read him his new fish story; then it became every other day, then about once a week. I thought he was over the story, but I was wrong.
“When Chase showed up at my house on December 20th for the week of Christmas, about ten minutes after he walked in the door, he said: ‘Grammy, I can’t wait. I need to see the picture in my fish book. Let’s go lie in your bed and look at it.’ He pretty much had the book memorized word for word, but the pictures were new and exciting. He left my house this Sunday toting two things: his ‘Fish’ book and a Buzz Light-year. He received many gifts for Christmas but the book and buzz were his pride and joy. Thanks for giving me quality time with my grandson he loves your fish stories and I love the lessons they inspire.” - Cindy Kohls-Brophy

“The Treasure-Hunt Three and Judge Mia’s Decree”

The Treasure-Hunt Three and Judge Mia’s Decree

“I love the fact there is a Judge in this story. Many children are scared silly when it comes to court (and this) story reinforces that a Judge represents fairness... Bullying is a real challenge children deal with daily and learning to support a friend in need by getting adult help – well all I can say is I LOVE IT!!! This is the best book in the series so far and the subject is so important for today’s kids!” - Anonymous, Bradenton, FL

“The book was absolutely beautiful, we loved the illustrations also! Once again, thank you for dedicating it to Jeff and Dave. That made us cry.” - Sandy Kocab
